Entertainment firms seek to join Live Nation antitrust case

Thirteen entertainment companies seek to join the Live Nation-Ticketmaster antitrust lawsuit, fearing competitors could access sensitive financial data without stronger protective order safeguards.

Several entertainment event providers claim their confidential business data will be breached by competitors if they are not allowed to join Live Nation and Ticketmaster's consumer antitrust litigation and amend a protective order to ensure safeguards of such information.

The companies claim Live Nation and others will gain an unfair advantage over them during future business negotiations, for example, if sensitive financial data such as event profit and loss is not protected....
