Over the objections of two Republican appointees, the U.S. Supreme Court declined Monday to review a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that upheld a decision that the city of Los Angeles did not violate the constitutional rights of landlords by barring evictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
