Clorox blames Cognizant for 2023 hack, demands $380M
Clorox sued Cognizant for $380 million, alleging the IT firm negligently gave cybercriminals access to company systems, leading to massive operational disruptions, product shortages and tens of millions in damages.




Clorox has filed a $380 million lawsuit against longtime IT services partner Cognizant, accusing it of gross negligence and contract breaches that allegedly opened the door to a cyberattack in 2023 that crippled the company's operations.
