Limp Bizkit royalty fight lands in court amid venue dispute

A Los Angeles judge is mulling whether to stay a lawsuit by '90s nu-metal band Limp Bizkit and its lead singer, Fred Durst, alleging unpaid royalties against Universal Music Group.
Judge Stephen P. Pfahler took motions to stay or dismiss the case under submission after tentatively upholding a venue selection clause the band signed in 1996 stipulating that legal actions against Universal be filed in New York.
