Santa Ana expands legal aid for immigrants amid rising federal sweeps
Orange County's only sanctuary city will partner with the Immigrant Defenders Law Center to provide free legal services to residents facing deportation. The move follows reports of ICE detaining bystanders in public sweeps, including a local attorney.
Santa Ana City Council and the Immigrant Defenders Law Center will offer free legal services to residents facing deportation in Orange County's only sanctuary city.
"We are continuing our commitment to help our immigrant community especially during this difficult time," Mayor Valerie Amezcua said.
