Judge narrows Alcon copyright suit against Musk, Tesla, Warner Bros
A federal judge streamlined Alcon Entertainment's copyright lawsuit against Elon Musk, Tesla and Warner Bros., dismissing some claims but allowing core infringement allegations to proceed, while warning against overly long, confusing pleadings.





A federal judge substantially streamlined a movie company's infringement complaint against Elon Musk and Tesla after the studio was previously warned about the length and complexity of its filings.
"The Court does agree with the Defendants that some measure of 'guardrails' are warranted here to rein in Plaintiff's proclivity towards overdoing things for pleading purposes," U.S. District Judge George H. Wu wrote in a ruling adopted Thursday.
