Southern California Edison (SCE) has announced a new Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program designed to offer fast, fair payouts to victims of the Eaton Fire, without requiring litigation or legal representation.
Legal representation is optional, but SCE will provide a 10% legal-cost bonus to claimants who choose to use an attorney. The program aims to eliminate the delays and expenses of courtroom litigation, the company said.
