LA to pay $18M settlement mid-trial to elderly brothers in police crash

After a year of legal wrangling and a week into trial, the City of Los Angeles has agreed to an $18 million settlement with two elderly brothers severely injured in a crash involving an LAPD officer.

The City of Los Angeles has agreed to pay $18 million to two elderly brothers who suffered life-altering injuries when an LAPD patrol vehicle crashed into their car as it made a left turn, bringing a mid-trial end to a year-long legal battle.
