Judge blasts Tyson & Mendes over fake citations, AI-reliant briefs

A San Diego judge denied sanctions but condemned Tyson & Mendes for miscited and non-existent authority, factual misstatements, and unverified AI-sourced research, calling the conduct unethical and corrosive.
