Quinn Emanuel loses $1.7M fee bid for ex-sheriff's case
A state appellate panel rejected Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP's attempt to recover $1.7 million in fees for representing former Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva in his failed bid to reinstate a fired deputy, finding the firm acted in bad faith and had no valid contract with the county.
