LA County blocks suit by fired probation chief

Los Angeles County won summary judgment against former probation chief Adolfo Gonzales, with a judge ruling his wrongful termination suit was barred for failing to meet statutory filing requirements.

The County of Los Angeles successfully blocked a lawsuit by former chief probation officer Adolfo Gonzales, asserting that he was fired for performance problems, including failure to maintain adequate staffing levels and failing to solve juvenile hall problems.
