X Corp. drops suit seeking return of Wachtell's $70M 'success fee'

The company's challenge to Wachtell Lipton's fee for enforcing Elon Musk's Twitter purchase ended abruptly Wednesday with a dismissal filed with prejudice.

More than two years after X Corp. demanded that Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz return a roughly $70 million "success fee" the law firm received from Twitter's former owners when Elon Musk acquired the company, X has quietly dismissed its complaint.
