Simpson Thacher expands San Francisco presence, names managing partner
The firm established its Bay Area presence in Palo Alto in 1999, a foothold that has since grown into a regional hub for companies seeking counsel on complex corporate, regulatory and disputes matters.
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP opened a new San Francisco office on Monday, significantly expanding its Bay Area presence.
Atif Azher, who has deep ties to the San Francisco business community, was named office managing partner. Azher advises on M&A and private equity transactions across multiple industries, including technology, health care, and consumer products.
