Defense challenges causation as Prologis moves to end Carson odor lawsuit

A hydrogeologist testified that hydrogen sulfide odors in the Dominguez Channel can arise from long-standing environmental conditions as Prologis seeks dismissal of claims tied to a 2021 warehouse fire.

After months of testimony from residents blaming a lingering odor on a Prologis warehouse fire, jurors on Monday began hearing defense evidence as the defendant real estate company presses a potentially case-ending motion that has yet to be decided.
