LA Labor Federation seeks dismissal of Cedillo lawsuit over secret recording
The A.F.L.-C.I.O. Los Angeles County Federation of Labor Building Association is asking a court to dismiss a lawsuit by former City Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo tied to a secret recording scandal. The defense contends the federation cannot be held liable for lower-level employees' actions and targets Cedillo's punitive damages claims.
The A.F.L.-C.I.O. Los Angeles County Federation of Labor Building Association, Inc. (LA Fed) has filed a series of aggressive defense motions seeking to end a lawsuit brought by former City Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo.
