Jury finds World Aquatics boycott illegal, awards International Swimming League $1

San Francisco jurors found World Aquatics unlawfully boycotted the International Swimming League but awarded only $1 after concluding the league failed to prove significant financial harm from the conduct.

A federal jury in San Francisco ruled in favor of the International Swimming League after its yearslong antitrust litigation against World Aquatics, finding the defendant group unlawfully boycotted an event that damaged the league's business interests.

But the jury awarded only $1 in damages after concluding the league failed to prove meaningful financial harm.
