Meta can't argue its terms of service protect it from a lawsuit brought by Facebook users who claim the company didn't do enough to help them recover accounts that were hacked, a federal judge in San Francisco ruled.
In a Jan. 26 order, U.S. District Judge William H. Orrick granted Meta's motion to dismiss the complaint, saying the plaintiffs' causes of action were deficient, but rejected Meta's argument that Facebook's terms of service limit its liability....
