Bellwether trial set in federal social media addiction litigation

School districts claim Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and their parent companies included features in their platforms they knew would lead children to become addicted.

A federal trial is scheduled to begin June 15 in the massive multi-district litigation alleging that social media companies tailored certain features to get children and teens addicted.
