Former Farella attorney wins fees after dismissal from swim league suit

A San Francisco judge awarded former Farella lawyer Neil Goteiner $47,000 in fees after his dismissal from a malpractice lawsuit brought by the International Swim League and its founder entities.

A former attorney at Farella Braun + Martel has won $47,000 in costs and fees from the International Swim League and its founder, following his dismissal from a high-stakes malpractice and overbilling lawsuit.

At a hearing in San Francisco Superior Court Monday, Visiting Judge Ronald E. Quidachay, formerly of the same court, said Neil A. Goteiner had "met the burden" in his request for attorney fees and granted his motion.
