CoStar accuses Quinn Emanuel of disloyalty in DQ fight
CoStar Group fired back at arguments opposing its bid to disqualify Quinn Emanuel, accusing the firm of knowingly representing a competitor in active litigation without consent and dismissing claims that an advance waiver or ethical wall could cure what it calls a clear breach of loyalty.
In the most recent escalation of a high-stakes ethical battle, CoStar Group filed a blistering reply accusing law firm Quinn Emanuel of "rank disloyalty" and a surreptitious "tactical power play" for allegedly attempting to represent a key rival while still serving as CoStar's counsel.
