Tech deal lawyer moves to Covington & Burling's Palo Alto office
John Fisher will co-lead the firm's Technology Industry Group as regulatory pressures reshape the tech deal landscape.
John Fisher has joined Covington & Burling as a partner in the firm's mergers and acquisitions practice group and will co-lead its Technology Industry Group from the Palo Alto office. Tomas Rua also joined the firm as a partner and will be based in New York.
Fisher said technology underpins all his work, including billion-dollar transactions such as Axel Springer's acquisition of Politico Pro, where the core asset was a software platform rather than a traditional media...
