Fee fight continues after pension underpayment ruling

CalPERS accepts trial court judgment but challenges attorney fees and scope of retirees eligible for relief.

Tens of thousands of current and future California government retirees will get increased pension payments, thanks to a trial court judgment holding that the state's pension agency denied many retirees the full amount due, lawyers for the retirees said Monday.
