Final entry of judgment for a $50 million settlement in California's privacy lawsuit against Facebook owner Meta Platforms was approved Monday by a visiting judge in San Francisco.
The settlement resolves claims that the company misled millions of Facebook users about how their personal information was shared with third-party app developers, including in the run-up to the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
