Attorney-client privilege dispute emerges as Musk testifies in Twitter securities trial
A federal judge grappled with attorney-client privilege issues as Elon Musk resumed testimony in a securities trial over his shifting public statements during the $44 billion Twitter acquisition dispute.
In a pretrial hearing, Senior U.S. District Judge Charles R. Breyer described the securities lawsuit against Elon Musk over social media posts he made flip-flopping about his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter as one that would test the limits of attorney-client privilege.
