Matthew P. Bergman, the plaintiffs' lead attorney in the bellwether social media trial in Los Angeles, was sanctioned $1,100 Monday for taking a selfie and participating in a Zoom broadcast in the courthouse during trial. The judge decided not to find him in contempt.
