Tigar lets FTC subscription claims against Uber largely proceed

A federal judge allows most FTC claims over Uber One billing and cancellation practices to move forward, while dismissing some advertising and state law allegations.

U.S. District Judge Jon S. Tigar allowed the bulk of the Federal Trade Commission's claims against Uber for allegedly misleading customers who enroll in its Uber One program to move forward, in an order issued Friday.
