A technology attorney's lawsuit against startup accelerator Y Combinator has survived a demurrer and will proceed on claims the company misused her idea for a founder-matching platform she says could be worth billions.
Harmony Oswald, a San Jose attorney and entrepreneur, sued Y Combinator in 2025, alleging it built a co-founder matching platform based on her earlier concept, "Founderology," which she submitted in a 2018 application to the accelerator.
