Supreme Court allows military vet's injury case to proceed

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that a wounded veteran can sue the military contractor whose negligent retention of a Taliban operative led to a suicide bombing that killed five soldiers and permanently disabled him.

In 2016, Army Specialist Winston Hencely was seriously injured in a suicide bombing attack while serving in Afghanistan. The attack occurred at Bagram Airfield.
