Car rental service Hertz has agreed to significantly expand access to its vehicles for drivers with disabilities under a proposed nationwide class action settlement, after a federal judge granted preliminary approval Friday.
The deal, filed in the Northern District of California, would resolve claims that the rental car giant discriminated against customers who require hand controls to drive.
