Fullerton sues fire truck makers over alleged price-fixing scheme

City alleges major manufacturers and dealers conspired to inflate prices and delay delivery of fire apparatus, seeking damages and injunctive relief.

The city of Fullerton has sued the nation's two largest fire truck manufacturers and more than 75 affiliated dealers, alleging an antitrust conspiracy that inflated prices for firefighting apparatus and stretched delivery times to multiple years, including during the January 2025 Los Angeles County wildfires.
