Quinn Emanuel founder John B. Quinn steps down from firm's helm
The transition leaves Bill Burck and Mike Carlinsky, who have shared the co-managing partner role with Quinn since 2022, in charge of the firm's day-to-day operations. The firm said it expects a seamless transition.
Four decades after launching Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, litigator John B. Quinn is stepping down as leader of the firm he built.
Quinn will remain a partner and serve as non-executive chair, focusing on promoting the firm and developing client relationships, according to a firm statement.
