Judge allows Meta privacy claims over Android tracking allegations to proceed

A federal judge has allowed most privacy claims against Meta to proceed in a class action alleging the company secretly links users' Android browsing activity to their social media profiles through hidden tracking methods.

U.S. District Judge Rita F. Lin allowed privacy claims against Meta to proceed based on allegations the company links users' Android browsing data to their social media accounts.
