Ye copyright trial heads to jury after combative closing arguments

Attorneys for Ye and a group of music creators delivered intense closing arguments in a federal copyright trial over allegations that "Hurricane" unlawfully incorporated portions of "MSD PT2."

Attorneys for Artist Revenue Advocates and rapper Ye, formerly Kanye West, presented their closing arguments to a federal jury Monday, concluding a copyright trial over claims that a musical work by a four-man creative team was illegally used in the Grammy-winner's song "Hurricane."
