Foster youth abuse suit alleges Santa Clara County 'stood down' investigators

The lawsuit filed by Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP alleges county officials ignored repeated warnings dating back to 1996 that pediatrician Patrick Clyne posed a danger to children, allowing him continued access to foster youth and vulnerable minors for years. Seven plaintiffs allege they were sexually abused during medical examinations and foster-care encounters tied to county systems.
