Quinn Emanuel exits $35M Bay Area college fraud case

Boies Schiller replaces Quinn Emanuel for two Chinese investors as the defense lawyer says he also plans to withdraw amid unpaid fees and communication problems.

The plaintiffs in a fraud lawsuit against a Bay Area for-profit college have replaced Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP with attorneys from Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, court documents show.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler approved the plaintiffs' motion to substitute their counsel of record Wednesday.
