Judge leans toward allowing Eaton Fire discovery into 2019 Edison arcing incident

A Los Angeles judge indicated Tuesday she would allow Eaton Fire plaintiffs to investigate a 2019 electrical arcing incident involving Southern California Edison equipment but appeared unwilling to permit further discovery into a 2018 incident that killed a utility contractor.
