Kings County judge charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter in cyclist's death

Attorney General Rob Bonta charged Kings County Superior Court Judge Kendra Weber with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter in the September 2025 death of bicyclist Bryan Leroy Garcia near Hanford.

Kings County Superior Court Judge Kendra Weber has been charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter in the death of a bicyclist who was struck from behind near Lemoore a year ago.

Bryan Leroy Garcia, 63, was riding his bicycle on Hanford-Armona Road at 16th Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. on Sept. 15, 2025, when he was struck by a 2019 Subaru Forester traveling behind him, according to reports at the time by ABC30/KFSN and KSEE/KGPE, citing the California Highway Patrol.
