9th Circuit upholds Classmates.com publicity rights class
The federal appeals court allowed a class of roughly 100,000 Californians to pursue claims that Classmates.com improperly used names from digitized yearbooks to promote paid subscriptions, while leaving the merits of the novel liability theory for another day.
