Judge leans against deposition of former Edison wildfire executive

A Los Angeles judge tentatively found Eaton Fire plaintiffs' proposed deposition of a former Edison executive would duplicate testimony already obtained about the utility's wildfire mitigation strategy.

Eaton Fire plaintiffs may not be able to depose Southern California Edison's former senior vice president about the utility's mitigation strategy, as a judge tentatively found Tuesday that his testimony would be cumulative of discovery already obtained from other Edison employees.
