Presiding judge reverses course on DA's challenges to San Francisco jurist
San Francisco's presiding judge denied new prosecution challenges to Judge Michelle Tong after allowing earlier ones. Neither order has been issued in writing.
San Francisco Presiding Judge Rochelle East refused Thursday to allow prosecutors to continue challenging Judge Michelle Tong's assignment to criminal cases, reversing course after approving similar challenges earlier in the week, the district attorney's office said
