Steptoe attorneys, staff step up for charity

Steptoe & Johnson LLP attorneys Erika R. Aspericueta and Richard Praseuth joined firm staff member Jonathan Diaz in climbing 75 stories Sept. 22 for this year’s Ketchum-Downtown YMCA Stair Climb for Los Angeles fundraiser.

An anticipated 4,000 participants completed the 1,664-stair ascent to the U.S. Bank Tower’s 1,000-foot observation deck, racing or walking to raise money for Ketchum-Downtown YMCA programs. As of Sept. 29, the Stair Climb event had generated more than $725,000 in donations, according to the fundraiser website.

Based in the firm’s LA office, which is located within the U.S. Bank Tower, the Steptoe team raised $375.
