Morrison & Foerster LLP associate Christian Andreu-von Euw has been given the firm’s 2017 Kathi Pugh Award for Pro Bono Service.
The honor offered Andreu-von Euw, who works with the firm’s San Diego intellectual property group, an opportunity to direct a $10,000 donation to a nonprofit organization. He chose the Crawford High School Academy of Law Foundation, where he is a volunteer and board member.
Since joining the firm in 2009, Andreu-von Euw has dedicated nearly 200 hours annually to pro bono work, representing clients in immigration, housing, criminal defense and domestic violence cases.
Morrison & Foerster established the award in 2013, when Pugh retired after two decades of running the firm’s pro bono program.
