Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP sponsored Wishes in Wine Country, an event benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization working to fulfill life-changing wishes for children with serious illnesses. The firm has sponsored the event for almost a decade.
All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Bay Area. The sponsorship cost was $25,000, and the total amount raised was $375,000, according to the firm.
The event took place on May 19 at the Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards in Windsor, and about 400 people sampled cuisine and wine from 40 restaurants and wineries. Managing partner Craig Adas, along with associates Lawrence Lee, Alex Purtill and Mei Dan attended from the firm.
“This is just a terrific cause that Weil is proud to support,” Adas said. “Every year it’s one of our favorite ways to give back.”
