The Los Angeles and Century City offices of Sidley Austin LLP participated in the 25th anniversary of the YMCA Stair Climb for Los Angeles.

Led by Ed Prokop, Sidley partner and YMCA board of managers member, more than 20 Sidley climbers and volunteers participated in the fundraiser on Sept. 28. Climbers raced up 75 flights of stairs, or 1,664 steps, in the US Bank Tower to fundraise for YMCA community programs in and around downtown Los Angeles. Once finished, participants at the top of the 1,005-foot building took the elevator down to the street for a block party. Approximately $804,095 was raised by the YMCA, approximately $44,000 over the projected goal, according to its website.
