Solana Beach-based boutique personal injury law firm Fox Law APC held its fourth annual Sunset Charity Happy Hour on Oct. 4 at Il Fornaio in Del Mar.
There was a charity raffle with prizes from hotels, restaurants and the Del Mar race track. All proceeds raised went to the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito and to the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe.
Partner Dave Fox said the firm hosts this celebration each year to thank the community organizations for referring clients with serious personal injury cases while also raising money for charities important to the firm and its clients.
“Local restaurants, spas and the racetrack donate incredible raffle prizes,” Fox said. “We then match all donations, and together we have raised significant money for the Boys & Girls Club, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and local animal shelters. We plan to involve the Challenged Athletes Foundation, legal aid and LGBTQ organizations in the years to come. It’s really a win-win for everyone.”
Attorney Joanna Fox was also welcomed to the firm, along with Russ Gold who joined as of counsel. The event had live acoustic music from local Del Mar musician Michael Tiernan.
