Law Rocks raises $136K for charity in San Francisco
Law Rocks raised more than $136,000 at its San Francisco fundraiser, with a winning performance by a band dominated by Winston & Strawn LLP and co-founded by two of its attorneys, John E. Scheiber and Ian C. Eisner.
Law Rocks raised more than $136,000 at its San Francisco fundraiser, with a winning performance by a band dominated by Winston & Strawn LLP and co-founded by two of its attorneys, John E. Scheiber and Ian C. Eisner.
The annual event, which featured musicial performances by attorneys, took place April 25.
The band won as overall champs and judges’ winners for the third consecutive years, raising money for the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley. The finale was a mashup of the Beatles’ “Day in the Life” and Oasis’ “Wonderwall.”
Seven other bands performed, all raising money for charities of their choice.
