Kern County Superior Court Judge Gregory A. Pulskamp, gave the keynote speech at the second annual Iftar, held by the Muslim Bar Association of Southern California in partnership with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office. Pulskamp is said to be the first Muslim judge in that court.
Held at he Tom Bradley Tower of the Los Angeles City Hall on May 16, the event welcomed more than 90 attendees including attorneys from large firms, solo practices, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and law schools. Iftar commemorates the traditional Muslim breaking of the fast. City Attorney Michael N. Feuer delivered welcoming remarks.
