Another burst pipe closes Compton Courthouse again

The Los Angeles County Superior Courthouse in Compton was closed again on Monday until further notice after another water pipe burst over the weekend, causing flooding in the public elevators, stairwells, and jury room, leaving much of the lobby inaccessible.

Court staff will be available outside of the courthouse to assist court users and answer questions. The court will notify parties with cases on the calendar of transfers and/or continuances.
