I am a sole practitioner with 50+ year’s experience in the area of probate and trust matters, including planning, administration, and litigation. I have been certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law by the California State Bar since the inception of that program and am a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel since 1983.

I have been an active mediator with ARC for more than 10 years with a settlement rate above 96% I tend to be “pro-active” and make maximum use of my experience in the probate and trust field in helping the parties reach a mutually acceptable settlement, while at the same time being sensitive to the emotional issues that are present in every case. I make special efforts to involve counsel both before and during the mediation. If a session is unsuccessful, I always follow-up with counsel to try and eventually reach settlement.

I am also available as an arbitrator, with emphasis in resolving fee disputes and complex accounting issues.
