Jeanne Behling is a seasoned mediator, having successfully resolved hundreds of disputes since commencing her full-time mediation practice in 2016. She commands an impressive background as an attorney representing plaintiffs and defendants alike for over two decades, specializing in personal injury, product liability, sexual abuse/harassment, and employment litigation. Her experience also extends to subrogation and cases involving peace officers and government claims.
Ms. Behling’s legal career began in 1988 as a Deputy District Attorney in Los Angeles, swiftly handling felony trials within months of joining. Over her tenure, she tried over 60 cases to jury verdict, including complex sexual abuse and felony gang offenses. Transitioning to civil litigation, Ms. Behling honed her skills at Alevizon, Smith, Susson & Palafox, handling all aspects of personal injury cases. Her international experience includes five years teaching business law and political science in Singapore, fostering a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.
Returning to the U.S. in 2000, Ms. Behling thrived for the next 16 years as a litigator, excelling in business, personal injury, product liability, and employment cases. Ms. Behling is an adjunct professor at Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law and has taught both mediation and negotiation to law students.
